BY CAR
Brno can be easily reached from all major cities in the Czech Republic (including Prague, Olomouc, Ostrava) through a large network of highways and motorways.
Prague - Brno - distance: 208 km, time: 2 h 07 min
Olomouc - Brno - distance: 77 km, time: 52 min
Ostrava - Brno - distance: 170 km, time: 1 h 40 min
For travel on highways in the Czech Republic, a vignette sticker is necessary. Sections, where the motorway vignette is required, are marked with a typical "highway" or "motorway" traffic sign. Vignettes can be purchased at all Czech Post branches, fuel stations, border crossings and other places providing services for motorists.
